Nature Coaching at the Zephyr Cove Library
The Zephyr Cove Library is thrilled to offer Nature Coaching for adults on Friday, June 3rd from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Nature Coaching combines various techniques from the world of life coaching and shinrin-yoku (forest bathing). The aim is to have a greater awareness of the world and others around you, whilst getting the health benefits of being out in nature. A typical session flow:
– Connection to yourself (guided walking meditation from library to location)
– Connection to nature (exercise conducted outdoors)
– Connection to others (connecting with the group on the return walk)
Nature Coaching will be led by Louise Whewell, a National Board-Certified Health and Wellness Coach who also works at Zephyr Cove library.
This program is limited to 8 people and supplies will be provided, so just bring yourself and an open mind. To reserve your spot or to be added to a waiting list, please email [email protected] or call 775-588-6411. This program takes place outside around the library and will be cancelled if the weather is unsuitable.
