Teens ages 13 – 17 can drive the virtual reality equipment and explore interactive content. All participants must have a signed parental permission form to use the virtual reality equipment. Fill out a permission form and waiver, and bring it to the library to participate:

Teen Advisory Board (TAB)

The library hosts the DC Teen Advisory Board for teens 13 - 17 years of age. They meet monthly to plan special events for teens ages 12 to 17; they also volunteer at children's programs.

Weekend Warriors - Teen Dungeons & Dragons Club

Weekend Warriors - Teen Dungeons & Dragons Club
Starting October 19 - Saturdays 2:00 - 4:00 p.m.

All teens are invited to become Weekend Warriors in the Minden Library’s new Teen Dungeons and Dragons Club. The Minden Library will provide a meetup space every Saturday at 2:00 p.m. where teens may play D&D and other tabletop games.

 All experience levels are welcome! You may bring your own snacks to fuel your adventures.


Reading Programs

The library's Summer Reading program runs every June and July.  Teens who participate will earn prizes while they maintain and build their reading skills during summer break.

We purchase many high-quality resources to help you with online research. They are part of our Digital Branch, available from your home 24/7. To use these resources from outside the library, you will be prompted to enter the number on the back of your library card along with your account password.
